About

Born and raised by her parents in a family of nine, Mary went to church with her family, but gave her life to Jesus at the age of 15. During this time she was attending school in Kenya in Form 2 which is the equivalent to ninth grade in the United States. Mary found peace, joy and hope in Christ and has continued to enjoy this sweet communion and company with her Savior Jesus. Her greatest desire is to walk in a continuing true relationship with Christ and to encourage people every day in this present life in the same way as she has been encouraged by the Lord.
Mary attended Munyange Primary School in Nyeri which is located in Kenya’s Central Highlands between the eastern Great Rift Valley and the western slopes of Mount Kenya and 150 km north of the capital city of Nairobi. Primary school consists of eight years in which a student enters at age 6 or 7 and attends Standard 1 through Standard 8. After that Mary attended Chinga Girls High School in Nyeri for her “O-Level” or Ordinary Level which consists of the first four years of her secondary schooling named Form 1 through Form 4 (Grades 8-11). Then Mary attended Tumutumu Girls High School in Karatina which is about 20 km south of Nyeri. At this school, she attended her “A-Level” or Advanced Level Education which consists of the last two years of secondary school or Form 5 and Form 6 (Grades 12 and 13). Next, Mary went to the Nairobi Hospital Cicely McDonnell School of Nursing. After graduating, she worked in the Aga Khan University Hospital ICU and then in the Nairobi Hospital ICU until she relocated to the United States of America with her family.
Mary is married to her husband, Jackson Kaleli Nzoka, and they are blessed with two children, Emmanuel Mwendwa and Grace Mwende.
Mary finds so much fulfillment in helping people, and she believes this has helped her to work in hospitals with the sick. Her heart is moved with compassion whenever she encounters people who are suffering. She worked with the teens and the youth in Kenya, and as she looks back on this journey, Mary rejoices because of their successes in ministry and also in life.
Mary has served in the praise and worship teams in different churches in Kenya. Last year in February, the Lord began giving Mary songs. She set herself to write them down as they were given to her. So far, by the grace of God, Mary has been able to record two albums and one DVD. Her prayer is that, as you listen to the songs, the Lord will minister to you, and you will experience His healing and deliverance in each area of your life that needs it. She also prays that you will minister to the Lord as you worship Him together with her. Remember, God is looking for a people who will worship Him in Truth and in Spirit (John 4:23-24). The Psalmist said, “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!” (Psalm 150:6)
These songs can be sung in the churches, but cannot be reproduced for sale. Feel free to contact Mary for questions regarding reproduction. God bless you as we build the kingdom of our God together. Mary can be reached on her e-mail address at kalelimary@gmail.com.
